The next day was filled with fun. While Liam and Wilona didn’t spend the night before, Praya did, and I appreciated the company. I never felt alone when she was there with me.
I tried to convince her countless times to sleep in the room with me, but she refused and chose to sleep on the sofa in the living room.
As I went downstairs for breakfast, Liam and Wilona were already there, enjoying the meal Lucia had prepared.
We spent the entire day indoors, watching movies, playing games, and having a great time. It felt like spending a Friday night with your favorite friends from college.
It was nighttime and we were trying to decide what movie to watch.
“How about mean girls?” Wilona asked, and I felt a sudden pang in my chest.
