GINA’S POV I woke up in Devyn’s room, expecting to find him asleep beside me, but he wasn’t there. Rising from the bed, I sat up, stretched, and noticed I was the only one in the room. As my hand moved to my neck, surprise coursed through me when I felt the necklace lying on my neck—I was certain I had tossed it in the lake.
