KAEL'S POV
"You can't talk anymore?" I asked coldly.
"I can explain—" he started, but I didn’t wait for an explanation.
I pulled the trigger. He fell to the ground, lifeless.
"Nobody messes with me and lives," I said, turning away.
I vowed to protect my woman, no matter the cost. I refused to repeat the same mistake my father made.
This should serve as a warning to anyone who dared to harm or even go near my wife.
I left his house, got into the car, and shut the door.
"Take me to the club," I told my driver.
"Yes, sir," he replied before driving off.
My mind was at ease, knowing I had eliminated the first threat to Jen’s life. She should never have to be afraid to walk the streets freely.
