I remember asking Mom when I was twelve why people start wars, referring to the war hundreds of years ago that included our own kind. She said something like, “Because sometimes, that's how people settle disagreements." Or, “Because they don't know how to handle their anger." The second one makes the most sense. If the first one is true, war is a pretty violent and sh*tty way to settle disagreements. People are corrupt, then. Toxic, in desperate need of therapy.
