A need to be alone, to think

                  Both being unable to form anymore words the conversation ended. Braelyn took the tiger that had been waiting for her in the kitchen and went to bed. She didn’t feel like she would be able to sleep, she was running the conversations she’d had that day through her mind. The words spinning round and round in her head slamming the hard truths she had learned against the sides. They’re not your family, bam. You’re an orphan, bam. They say they love you, bam. They’re making you leave, bam. Again, and again, the thoughts pounded in her head, and before she knew it morning had come.                          She got up at first light, taking Nova outside. She needed to think, she needed to be alone, she needed to clear her head. She didn’t quite know what she was supposed to do.
