Chapter 7 : Enjoying themselves

As soon as we were inside, I groaned and threw myself onto the bed. “Why did I try turning that into a stupid contest?” I groaned, stuffing my face into the soft sheets. “Because he used to be yours and you’re a protective person,” Sebastian responded as I felt the bed beside me dip. “But you’ll be okay. I’m here to get you through this.” “You’re here to be my pretend boyfriend,” I pointed out. “Yes, but you paid me extra and offered to help me get a new movie. Meaning, my services have been upped from a simple ‘fake boyfriend’” he teased. I felt his hand find the small of my back and trace patterns into my skin, which was calming. “How about this, we’re in one of the most amazing vacation spots and we have the freedom to do whatever we want until the wedding in six days. We’ll start out by finding a spa and getting an amazing massage and the works. We’ll then go see what this part of Maui has to offer. From what I’ve heard, we absolutely have to go snorkeling, get a helicopter tour, and go to a bunch of the beaches and parks that Maui has to offer. And maybe, if we become good enough friends to stay in contact, next time we come to Hawaii we can stay longer and do so many more things, both on Maui and the other Islands,” he told me. “I love the sound of that,” I groaned. “I know just the spa, too.” We went back downstairs and got back into the limo which I directed to go to ‘Awili Spa and Salon’ which offered a variety of Spa services. We spent the day together getting massages, body treatments, and facials, and I got waxed and got a manicure and a pedicure. By the time we were done with the spa, the sun was already beginning to set. We then headed over to a local Luau that was going on and spent a lot of time laughing and having fun together. When we went back to the resort that night, both giggling, tanned, and feeling relaxed and beautiful, we ran into Grayson and Bridget as we were in the elevator. We didn’t quite acknowledge each other, instead, Sebastian and I spent the ride talking about a game of Hawaiian Pictionary that happened at the Luau and about how completely clueless we had been during the entire game. “Night, Gray,” I called out to him as we went different directions down the hallway. When we got back into the hotel room, we both showered one after another and passed out in the king-size bed next to each other.
