Chapter 10:The Horrific Hunt.

As the days passed, the threats grew more frequent and more violent. Lily and Luca were constantly looking over their shoulders, never knowing when their past would catch up to them.
One night, as they were walking home from dinner, they were ambushed by a group of Black Lotus members. The men surrounded them, their faces twisted with malice.
"You thought you could escape us, huh?" one of the men sneered, his voice dripping with venom.
Lily felt her heart race as she looked at Luca, her eyes pleading for help. But Luca was already moving, his fists flying as he fought off their attackers.
The fight was brutal and bloody, but in the end, Lily and Luca emerged victorious. They knew, however, that this was only the beginning of their battle with Black Lotus.
As the days turned into weeks, the threats and attacks continued. Lily and Luca were living in a nightmare, never knowing when their enemies would strike next.
One night, as they were sleeping, they were awoken by the sound of breaking glass. They jumped out of bed, their hearts pounding as they searched the house for intruders.
And that's when they saw it. A figure standing in the shadows, a glint of metal in their hand. Before they could react, the figure lunged at them, the blade slicing through the air.
Lily screamed as Luca tackled the intruder, the two of them grappling on the floor. In the chaos, the figure's mask slipped, revealing a face they both recognized.
It was Alex, Lily's supposedly dead lover.
