Time is a dumb teacher who never says a word yet teaches a lesson worth a million words.
Life is really unfair......
Hi, this is Akio, a smart boy is what my name means, from the beautiful nation of Japan. I am a student in grade 12.
Oof, it’s been kind of the same for me. Am I going to be late for school again today? Do not mistake me for a lazy guy. I was burning my midnight oil yesterday.
Yeah, the word still holds true even if I was wide awake all night playing video games online with Asahi. Although it's still worth waking up all night because it fetched me a streak of 11 victories that i've thrived for so long leaving asari in despair on losing to me.
An alarming sound comes from downstairs.“ Are you in a plan to go to school ? Hana is already standing downstairs waiting for you.” That's my mom, the kindest one in my whole family. She is as beautiful as an angel, a complete star that has stopped raising since her marriage. Yeah, being born in an orthodox Japanese family made it necessary for me to study the subject of my least interests, such as devil good science and the nightmares of many - math.
Ahh, I forgot to introduce you to my only sister … Hana, the perfectionist. Do not talk loud about her or else you will start hearing people praising her even from the street across the highway. Digging out her name is one of the biggest fears of me and children of my neighborhood. Being born as her sibling is a grace that is what my parents think of, but in reality it’s a horrible nightmare that I can’t escape. Being compared to Hana right from the moment I opened my eyes to the dinner table meal is what I despise the most.
But I can't even deny the fact that she is one of the kind that no one can ever find on this planet. Though being a brilliant, or rather genius, she never left her kindness on edge and treated everyone with the utmost kindness. She was a perfect example of a beauty with a brain. Her large eyes, slender nose and a sharp chin with Mongolian features had added glory to her beauty. She won district moon goddess award adding to her god like image. She was silent, the kind of one who won't even say a word if it's silent beside her even for the last 72 hours.
“Give me a sec, mom” I yelled.
After a while, getting off my stairs, I saw Hana wearing the sports uniform and started laughing loudly, quoting “Mistakes are made by humans, Although”. I waved my hand through my hair in order to show that even Hana can be wrong sometimes. Since today is a Friday, we were supposed to wear our regular uniform, but she went wrong this time. I was drenched in the joy of finding a flaw in my flawless sister. A flow of pleasant solace was flowing through my nerves seeing her being wrong. She peeped at me as if I was the one who made a mistake. Then, she left me with a smirk that I am still wondering what it meant.
