TWELVE When Wreck got her back to the motel, he took her inside. Instead of fastening her to the lamp again, he pushed her down on his bed and took off her boots. He removed her ankle strap too and tucked her weapon into her discarded boot. Tulsi objected to being in his bed, even as he stripped down to his underwear and got in beside her. It wasn’t easy to argue with a gruff man like Wreck while trying not to wake the slumbering, slobbering idiots in the next bed. Once he locked his legs around her, Tulsi gave in.
