Chapter 11 - The Plan Part 2

Britannia's P.O.V

"Hello Markus."

"Hello Britannia."

I smiled. It has been a long time since I last heard from the Blancs. Our last encounter was a very devastating one I can say the least. Dante and I were on the road to being married and were in deeply in love, but Mrs. Blanc ruined our planned wedding by engaging Dante to the model Princess, Victoria Wild. It was a sad day. I cried and pleaded Dante not to do it but he was forced to.

I had suffered from depression for over a month until I realized that I won’t have Dante in my arms anymore. I faced reality and moved on with my life, and now I am in healthy conditions.

"Why have you called me Markus? You do know my history with your family, right?" I questioned.

It was the same chuckle Markus did when he knew something, maybe a lot more than he was supposed to. "Yes, I do know your history with my family, and I have come to tell you important information."

"That is?"

"My brother has broken off the wedding with Victoria and now he is in need of someone to help him through his sad state, again. I thought of you, well because you and my brother have history together and you loved each other."

I was in a state of shock, Dante broke off his wedding with Victoria. For as far as I knew, Victoria was the 'it' person you wanted to marry. "Wait, Markus, are you sure he broke off his wedding?"

Markus hummed, "I am strictly positive that my words are true. Britannia, I know you still love Dante, and this is the chance to prove your love again."

I closed my eyes and pondered on the idea of seeing Dante again. What will he say when he sees me? Will I embarrass myself? I know I still have love in my heart for him, but I don't think I want that heartbreak again.

"Markus, when do you want me to come over?"

I could sense the smile on Markus' face, "Tomorrow will be great. Oh, and I will have a driver pick you up from home."

"Thanks. Bye."

"No thank you Britannia." And the other line went silent. I hung up the phone and ran around the house looking for my clothes and shoes.

Dante's P.O.V

After Aurora's and I confession in the kitchen, I left Aurora a note telling her that I went to gym to work out for a while and headed on my way.

I drove in my Mercedes to the local gym where my friends worked and trained. I got out of my car and headed inside the gym.

"Hey Dante. What's shaking?" My best friend, Chad said.

I sat down on the bench press, "Nothing much. Just found the most amazing girl I have ever known."

Chad spat out the water in his mouth, "Did you just say 'amazing'? Remember you said those same words about Britannia." I rolled my eyes and did my bench presses.

"I know...what....I said." I spoke in-between presses.

"What is her name anyway Dante? I am sure she has you all riled up." Leave it up to Chad to make you flustered.

I chuckled, "She....does. Her....name....is....Aurora."

"That's a beautiful name. Is she hot?" I put the weight on its handle and gave Chad a look.

"Of course, she is. Her name matches her description." I walked over to the 40-pound weights and picked up one and started working my biceps.

"Oh man. I don't know if I would have stayed humbled for that long with a fine girl walking around my house in nothing but Victoria Secret underwear. Je pense que je l'ai sauté ."(I think I might have jumped her.)

I pushed my head back and laughed, "You, Chad, are something else. I have self-control by the way."

He scoffed, "Self-control?! You my friend are going to lose that 'self-control' when you really see her in nothing. Better prepare now."

I placed the weights down and went to do my handstand push-ups. "Just pray for me Chad. That I won’t jump her in her sleep."

"Will do bro because I have a feeling you are going to mess up. NO MAN has self-control."

I sat down on the mat and got my phone from out of my pocket. I saw that I missed a few calls from Aurora, I called her back.

"Hello." Chad whispered to put it on speaker which I did.

"Hey Aurora. If you’re wondering, I am at the gym with my friend Chad. No need to worry."

I heard a sigh of relief come from her, "Thank God. I thought I ran you away by hugging you in the kitchen."

I had to laugh. If she only knew that I loved her.

Chad's face was unbelievable. He looked shocked the most.

"You can never run me away. I basically live in that house."

"Well that's good to hear. Come back soon, dinner is almost ready."

"I will, soon. Bye Aurora."

"Bye Dante." And we hung up the call.

Chad was freaking out in the gym, attracting some eyes near our way.

"Dude. I didn't know she was that hot. If her voice is like that, she must be pretty hot."

I smiled, "She is bro. Later man, I have to be home for dinner."

Chad waved me off, "Drive safe man."

"You too." And I was on my home to be with Aurora and to eat. I am starving at this point.

Aurora's P.O.V

I was in the living room sitting down watching Devious Maids when I heard the door creak open.

"Aurora? You here.?" That deep, husky and masculine voice that I loved to hear, shouted out loud.

"I am in the living room." Dante walked in the room and might I say, he was a sight.

Bulging muscles, defined pecs and abs with the trickle of sweat running down it, he was the sight of many fantasies. I am so glad he didn't notice me ogling him because it would have been embarrassing.

"How was your workout?" He smiled and sat on the chair across from me.

"It was good. I had enough time to relax and clear my head and chill with friends." You could always stay and chill with me.

"How was your day Aurora?" He suddenly asked.

I sighed and groaned, "It was boring. All I watched was Devious Maids."

I gave him a look and walked up to him. "Aren't you supposed to be bathing? You are really sweaty."

He stood up with his full height and was towering over me.

"Okay I understand your concern, but can you bathe me?" That got my face heated.

I pushed him out the living room and told him to go bathe, he just chuckled and went up to his room.

What will I do with this man?
