24 hours had passed since Mike’s death.
But no one in the hotel said his name.
Not at meals. Not on set. Not before sleeping.
Like saying his name would invite death too.
The police couldn’t come. The road was gone. No phone towers.
Peter Dan only said: "It was an accident. Bear attack. We’ll go back after the shoot."
No one believed it. But no one dared to argue either.

_DAY 3. 2:14 AM. PETER DAN’S ROOM_
Peter tossed and turned in bed.
He was rich. Powerful. A 4 billion dollar film in his hands.
But trapped in this dead town, he was just as helpless as everyone else.
He closed his eyes.
_Water. Water everywhere._
_He was standing by a river. Rain was pouring._
_In front of him stood Tom. The driver who brought them here in the van._
_Tom was smiling. Then behind him, a wall of water rose. 20 feet high._
_The water dragged Tom inside. Tom screamed. "Help me!"_
_Peter watched. He couldn’t move. He couldn’t speak._
_The water turned red._
Peter jolted awake. Drenched in sweat.
"Just a dream." He told himself. "Only a dream."
But his hands were shaking.
---
_DAY 3. 7:00 AM. DINING HALL_
Breakfast. Silence again.
Only the rain and the sound of spoons.
Peter walked in. Red eyes. Messy hair.
"Peter sir, are you okay?" someone asked.
"I’m fine." He said. But his voice trembled.
He got coffee and sat by the window. Outside, the river was fast from the rain.
Bella came in. Eyes puffy. Mike was on her makeup team.
She saw Peter. "Sir, are you alright?"
Peter forced a smile. "Yes dear. Are you?"
"I couldn’t sleep." Bella said.
Peter slammed his cup down. Coffee spilled.
"No one’s sleeping." He said quietly. "This place... this place isn’t right."
Bella got scared. "What do you mean?"
"Nothing." Peter got up and left.
---
_DAY 3. 10:00 AM. SET - EXPANDED DETAIL SCENE_
Today’s scene: Riverbank scene.
Edward saves Bella from falling into water.
Ironic.
The crew stood by the river. The water was fast. The rain had slowed but the ground was muddy and slippery. Mist hung low over the surface, making the far bank disappear. The sound of rushing water was constant, like a growl.
Tom, the driver, stood near the van smoking a cigarette.
"Man, when will this rain stop." He said to Harry.
Harry adjusted the camera on his shoulder. The lens kept fogging up from the humidity. He wiped it with his sleeve. "Don’t know bro."
Peter stood far away, watching everyone. His hands were clasped behind his back. His knuckles were white.
"Action!" Spell Man shouted.
Edward grabbed Bella’s hand. "You’re not safe here."
They walked closer to the riverbank. The mud sucked at their boots. Bella slipped once and Edward caught her arm, pulling her in too close. She stiffened but didn’t pull away.
The water roared louder. A branch floated past, spinning in the current.
Suddenly Peter screamed. "STOP!"
Everyone froze.
Peter ran over. Face white. "Cancel the scene. Not today."
"Why?" Spell Man got angry. "One day of delay costs 2 crore!"
"I said CANCEL!" Peter yelled. "No one goes near the river!"
Silence.
Tom flicked his cigarette. "Sir what happened?"
Peter looked at Tom. In his head the dream kept looping.
_Water. Tom. Screaming._
"Nothing." Peter said. "Back to the hotel."
---
_DAY 3. 6:00 PM. HOTEL_
Everyone locked in their rooms.
Fear had spread.
Harry sat writing in his diary:
_Day 1: Road blocked_
_Day 2: Mike’s dream = Bear = Mike’s death_
_Day 3: Peter’s dream = Water = ???_
Knock.
Bella. Two cups of tea in her hands.
"Thought you might need this." She said and came in.
"Did you hear?" Bella asked. "Peter sir cancelled the shoot today."
"Yeah."
"I think he had the dream too." Bella said softly.
Harry looked at her. "Why do you think that?"
"Because he’s scared." Bella held her cup. "Like Mike was scared."
They went quiet.
Outside the rain got heavier. The sound of the river reached the hotel.
---
_DAY 3. 11:50 PM. RIVERBANK_
Tom couldn’t sleep.
He sat in the van smoking.
"Damn it. Stuck here." He muttered. "30 days."
He opened the van door. Cold air hit him.
The river was far but he could hear it. _Gurr gurr_
He thought he’d get water.
He took a flashlight and walked to the river.
Rain started again.
When he reached the bank, the water was too fast. Muddy. Slippery.
"Shit." Tom slipped. Barely caught himself.
He looked up.
The moon was behind clouds.
And then... the water moved.
Like something was rising from below.
Tom stepped back. "Anyone there?"
No answer.
Only the sound of water.
Then behind him... _footsteps._
Tom turned.
No one.
When he turned back to the river...
A 20 foot wall of water was above him.
Exactly like in the dream.
Tom screamed. "HELP!"
The water pulled him in.
Cold. Darkness. No air.
Then silence.
---
_DAY 4. 5:30 AM_
"TOM IS MISSING!"
The scream echoed again.
Peter ran first.
By the riverbank. Footprints in the mud.
And ahead... nothing.
Just the river. Fast. Deep.
"Find him!" Peter yelled. But fear was in his voice.
After 2 hours they found Tom’s body.
500 meters downriver. Stuck between rocks.
Mouth open. Eyes wide.
Drowned.
---
_DAY 4. 9:00 AM. HOTEL LOBBY_
Everyone gathered.
Fear had turned to terror.
Peter’s face was pale. He kept washing his hands. Like there was blood on them.
"This isn’t an accident." The old watchman said. He was part of the 6-man crew.
Everyone looked at him.
"This is Black Pines." The old man said. "100 years ago, 32 miners got trapped here in a flood. All drowned."
"What nonsense." Edward said.
"After that, every 30 years people come here. And in 30 days, one by one they die." The old man said. "Dreams come first. Then death."
Silence.
Bella grabbed Harry’s hand.
Harry didn’t let go.
Peter laughed loudly. "Stop the bullshit. We’re making a movie. No curse."
But his voice had no strength.
That night Peter locked his door with 3 locks.
---
_DAY 4. 12:00 AM. HARRY’S ROOM_
Harry couldn’t sleep.
His diary was open:
_Day 2: Bear - Mike_
_Day 3: Water - Tom_
_Pattern: See the dream. Die the next day._
Soft knock.
Bella.
She hugged Harry the moment she entered.
"I’m scared Harry." She cried. "2 people are dead. Whose turn is next?"
Harry put a hand on her head. "I don’t know."
"Will we survive?" Bella asked.
Harry looked out the window. Rain. Darkness. The river.
"I don’t know." He said honestly. "But I won’t leave you alone."
Bella looked at him. Eyes full of tears and something else.
She whispered. "Thank you... hero."
Harry didn’t answer.
Lightning flashed outside.
And for a second Harry felt... like someone was watching them.
From the jungle. From the dark.
30 days.
2 deaths done.
28 days left.
And 30 people.
Whose dream is next?
