Beau’s POV
Meeting Tina for the first time felt like I had just been through a tornado. She was lively. Richard always chose the wrong kind of woman, but Tina, she was just what he needed. The two of us men just stood there as Marina and Tina formed a fast friendship. I bristled at how fast they were bonding, after hearing how Teresa turned her former friends against her. I was leery. I didn’t want Tina to do the same to her. It would not only kill Marina, it would put a strain on my friendship with Richard.
The two women were trying to plan a sleepover. “Wait! Mari, you have a busy week starting.”
Richard chimed in. “Same as you, Tina, you have to finish your designs and submit them.”
The two of them gave us each a pitiful look. Tina had her lip poked out while Marina’s eyes quivered.
