Emma's POV. The night faded away so far, but Anderson was nowhere to be found. I was about to step out of the house when I saw Roland carrying Aubrie. She seemed to have lost consciousness. “What happened to her?” I asked in an alarmed tone as I approached them. But he ignored my question and laid her on a cemented bench close to us while he rushed to get some water from the house. “Hey, Aubrie? Come on, open your eyes,” I said softly, but nothing changed.
