Chapter 30: Chapter Thirty: Officially Meeting the Parents
The sky had grown quite dark. After dinner, Emmanuel Wright decided to stay overnight with Lena Roxanne and return the next day.
Upon entering the room, Lena Roxanne suddenly felt a sharp pain in her abdomen, causing her to involuntarily crouch down and clutch her stomach.
"Lena Roxanne, what's wrong? Is your stomach hurting?" Emmanuel Wright asked anxiously, reaching out to lift her up. "I'll take you to the hospital right now!"
Lena Roxanne's face was pale, and her lips had lost their color. She rested her chin on Emmanuel Wright's knee, beads of sweat forming on her forehead.
"Uncle, don't worry. I'm fine, there's no need to go to the hospital," she said weakly.
