The Lost memories

Chapter 3

The girls headed to there lessons i decided to text my mum to come and pick me up early as i started to feel a bit overwhelmed with everything the pictures and everything so i decided to head to my locker and take my stuff and then head to the front of the to wait for my mum to come and pick me up i waited for no longer then 10 minutes, I heard a car horn i looked up to see it was my mum i head to the car once i was in the car she said "Hey hun, how was it" in all honest it was okay but i feel a bit overwhelmed i meet three girls Emily, Kaci and Ari they say we have been friends since we was three but i can't seem to remember them and i feel bad about oh no here it comes again i started to cry lately i am so emotional i can't seem to help it, My mum brought me in for a hug don't worry Alice it can't be helped give it time when she let me go she gave me a reassuring smile i felt better but i couldn't stop myself from think about what Emily said earlier 'Hey mum i was talking with Emily about not being able to remember her and the others and what she said next confused me, She said its not my fault it's his' when Emily tried to cover it by saying something else i didn't believe her but i pretended to she sounded normal when she said it so it must mean what she said was real.

My mums looked shocked as if someone has just smacked her across the face 'Hey mum what's with that look is what she said something to do with my accident "No hun she must of said it without think lets not talk about this anymore" the journey home was quite no one spoke the car was dead silent once we got home i went up to my room and through myself onto my bed. Today has been a long day i feel so tried with, That being said i drifted off to sleep without even knowing it i must of be in a deep sleep because i woke up in sweats i must have had a nightmare again but this time it was different there was still smoke and a person i couldn't see but i was trapped in a car and all i could see was blood everywhere and i could hear screams which shock me i didn't know what was going on and the next thing i knew was that i was waking up in sweats, This is getting out of hand now i can't have proper sleep at night I thought to myself i look at my phone it's only 5:45 pm So i decided to have a shower before going downstairs to get something to eat once i was finished in the shower and was dressed in my PJ's i headed down stairs to the kitchen and grabbed some Blue M&M's and headed into the living room my mum was sitting watching TV 'Hey mum' i felt a bit weird about what happened in the car i feel like my mum is hiding from something but when i think about it everything that has happened she is trying to protect me which is understandable "Hey hun, how are you feeling" when she asked me how i was feeling i didn't know how to answer that question 'Mum i don't know how to feel i had another nightmare but this time it was different this time' she looked concerned about what i just said "What do you mean Alice" i took a deep breath i didn't want to think of it again but at the same time i wanted to tell my mum 'I was in a car there was someone next to me but i couldn't make out the face, I heard screams and i saw blood everywhere' my mum looked at me with worry in her eyes i could tell she was worried about me "Alice if you keep having nightmares we could book an appointment with a counsellor if you wanted" i nodded i needed something to stop these constant nightmare i keep having.

The next morning i heard my mum shout me down from my mum i was already awake as every time i close my eyes i have the same nightmare i made my way to the shower once i was finished i put on my blue over sized jumper on and my black ripped jeans then slowly made my way stairs to meet my mum who was sitting in the kitchen " Your toast is ready" i started to eat my breakfast Alice i have booked you an appointment with a counsellor today after college i nodded as i had toast in my mouth isn't this a bit quick i thought i only told her about the nightmare last night and i have an appointment today once i finished my toast i poured myself some orange juice once i was completely finished i placed my plate and cup into the dish washer i made my way to the living room where my mum was packing her bag 'Mum you going back to work today' she nodded I felt kinda guilty as she was supposed to go back yesterday she has was off for three months because of me but it's good to see her being able to go back to work now "Alice do you want me to drop you off at college" i shock my head 'No mum its fine you need to head to work now, I will make my own way there' i have my own car but i haven't drove it since my accident but see in my nightmare i was in a car i am a bit hesitant to drive it on my own but i don't know if i can remember how to drive but this is the only way i can get to college i don't think i would be comfortable to get the right bus so i made my way upstairs to my room to get my bag and phone once i had them i searched the house for my car keys where did i keep them i thought to myself so i called my mum.

RING RING RING..

MUM: Hello

ALICE: Hello

MUM: Are you okay

ALICE: Yes do, You know where my car keys are

MUM: Why do you need them

ALICE: I am going to drive to college

MUM: Are you sure that is safe

ALICE: I want to

MUM: Okay they are in the kitchen draw

ALICE: Thank you mum

MUM: Don't forget your appointment

ALICE: What time is it

MUM: 5:45 pm i send you the address i meet you there after work

ALICE: Okay then

MUM: Bye Hun

ALICE: Bye Mum

CALL ENDED...

Once i finished on the phone with my mum i grabbed my car keys and then headed to the garage to get in my car to make my way to college but it was covered with a big black sheet the dust hit the back of my throat as i pulled the sheet off the car i opened up the shutter from the garage placed my stuff in the passenger seat and then got in to make my way to college i started up the car it felt weird i suddenly felt anxious i took some breaths it seemed that i didn't forget to drive after all.
