"The scanner is picking up a large number of flying craft, mostly below us, but I afraid of hitting one. We're moving so fast, I have no time at all to avoid them."

"Those are passenger airlines," said Alex, "Generally they fly at around twenty-eight to forty thousand feet, get down below the clouds and you have to worry about the private aircraft." Stapkas gave him a worried look,
