Alana's POV I felt so overwhelmed, it was awful to get there, see his face, and be transported back to what had happened to my mother.   This was going to be even more difficult than I originally thought, and I wasn't sure what to do.  He was to blame for most of my problems, but that didn't mean he was the only one I had to deal with.  I had been harsh with them, but only because I felt justified and cornered.  I was the prisoner, the one they had hurt, and yet they had acted as if I was the one misbehaving.  I was just realizing that I would have to face a lot of people who would be hard to forgive.
