From the moment I woke that morning I felt like something had changed
Neither of my parents had made the slightest attempt to wake me which they had done almost every morning prior. In case they had failed to do that my alarm that I had forgotten to set the previous night would wake me. When I woke up and stared at my wall clock I realized I was late for school.
That was a first. I had never woken up so late before
"Crap!!!" I yelled rushing out the door to the shower. A quick shower later I ran back to my room to get dressed.
