Shaking her head as she laughed, and I felt the tightness in my chest loosen at that.
"Hey, if you have a minute, I would like to talk with you about something."
She blinked up at me. But I was relieved to see she didnt show any signs of worry or fear. "Oh, um, sure, I think Mary is done for now, just waiting till everyone is done."
Nodding I moved back over to the table with her behind me, reaching out, pulling out a chair for her. "Thank you."
