"It is not clear now, I can't read it," I say,
The light came back on. "That's alright, you did well." He pushed the chart back up. "Now, you were able to make out five of those letters."
Nodding, "I think so."
"You did, and that's good. A human would not have been able to read that with how dark it was, so your sight has improved somewhat."
I squeezed Rafes' hand,
"Now let's see about strengthening." He moved to stand in front of me. He held out his hands, "I want you to squeeze my hand with all you have."
Glancing down at his out strechted hansd and back up, I must have had a confused look, "It's alright, go on."
I couldnt help but look to Rafe. He gave me a nod, "It's okay,"
Reaching out my hands, they shook as I took the doctor's,
"Okay, now remeber as hard as you can."
