Chapter 12 Wine and blood streaked through the water, stark against the white porcelain tub. Beneath the scalding spray of the shower, she bowed her head and tried to stop the constant replay of the scene in her mind. But every time she closed her eyes . . . She put a hand on the tiled wall and sucked in air. The sweet scent of metal wafted up with the steam.
