Back From Nowhere

ALEX'S POV

I was so happy that I was finally going home today. I had to isolate myself for three whole days. This Alpha position is really not for the weak. I really needed that vacation, and I'm glad it ended well. I have kept Aurora in prison now for over a year. What surprised me was that everyone was actually against her when she lost her parents... Not even her father's beta was in support of her. At some point, I felt bad for her, but I didn't care any less because I also wanted that position and, since no one was on her side, I had to take up the position and send her over to prison for a crime she never committed.

I wanted her out of the way and Tina, my sister, was actually in support of it. If not that Tina was my sister, I would have really called her a bad person because I don't know how she actually feels so comfortable stabbing her best friend.

Apart from being the late Alpha's daughter, Aurora has actually been my crush since when we were little, but she never looked my way. She was always coming to ask for Tina. She didn't want to have anything to do with me. I don't even think that she actually knew that I even existed back then, but now the table has turned, and I'm finally the new Alpha, Alpha Alex Morgan of the Moon Blade pack. The pack house had actually been empty all this while before I was chosen to emerge as the new Alpha recently.

Immediately, my phone rang, and I glanced to see who was calling, "Liam my man, what's going on." I asked my beta over the phone. Liam has never allowed my phone to rest since I embarked on this small vacation, but I understand he is just looking out for me.

"I'm good Alpha, we have brought her home," he said, sounding as if he had done the wrong thing. I actually ordered that Aurora be brought back to her home, but, as a servant, I could understand that the torture was too much on her in the prison, which I do not care about. Instead, we can all torture her ourselves instead of the prison's guards.

"Why are you sounding like that, Liam," I asked him. Liam and Tina never wanted Aurora back. They wanted her to remain in prison till she begs for her death.

"What if she comes for the Alpha position?" Liam asked me. I could feel the fear in his voice.

"Don't worry about that man, she won't, and I'm sure no one will give her that privilege. "By the way, how is my baby doing?" I asked him, trying to change the topic.

"You mean Lisa?," he asked, trying to get on my nerves.

"Are you trying to play dumb man? You know she's the one I'm talking about," I responded, not wanting to react to the stupid question he had just asked now. And I could feel his laughter over the phone. He just wants to piss me off. I can see that.

"Yeah...yeah... She's great. We are all waiting for you."

"Of course you all will see me soon," I responded before hanging the call on him.

'Lisa this... Lisa that...' I could hear my wolf Andre murmuring in my head. I had to silence him immediately because I really don't have the strength to deal with his s**t right now. Andre never liked Lisa at all and that's part of the reason why I find it so hard to get intimate with Lisa and mark her as my mate. Andre feels that waiting for our true mate is the best, but I actually do not care because I haven't found my true mate yet.

I finally arrived in the Moon Blade pack. Everyone was already waiting for me to come down from the car. I could see the preparations already from outside. It felt like a party with music or friends, just family members.

Immediately I came down, my sister ran over and embraced me in a big hug, followed by Lisa. Those two really used to put themselves in a competition for who loves me more.

"I thought you were going to come back on time bro," my sister asked as she took the item I was carrying.

"At least I'm here now... mhm... "It's just three days, not three years, baby sis," I said, then pecked her forehead. I could feel the jealousy in Lisa's eyes. These two won't be the end of me.

I made my way in and, for some reason, I noticed that Aurora was nowhere to be seen, and immediately I was engulfed by a very sensitive smell. I couldn't place my mind around it and my wolf, Andre, was not helping the matter at all.

"Are you okay, baby," Lisa called out to me as she held my hands. I didn't know that the expression of how I felt was written all over my face. I tried as much as possible to hide my feelings.

"Yes Hun, I'm fine," I responded, giving her an assuring smile.

"You know you need to change and come and eat," she said happily as she started dragging me towards my room and that was the same direction as where the smell was coming from. Andre kept jumping in my mind as he kept saying the word...'Mate'...and immediately I saw her in my room, I knew I was in big trouble.

For a moment, I forgot that she was a servant now. I was so lost just by looking into her eyes, I could feel the fear in her eyes. Was she really afraid of me? I never knew that Aurora, my crush then, would actually be my fated mate. But why did it actually have to be her? How was I going to face these feelings?

"What are you doing here you b***h," I heard Lisa's voice and I already knew who she was talking to. Aurora stood there, still gazing at me. I know that she must have found out that I'm her mate.
