Lurch stepped out of the apartment building as Ghost pulled up. He got inside and waited for the snarky comments to start. He knew it wouldn’t be long, Ghost couldn’t keep his mouth shut very long. “Did you get her number?” Ghost asked. Lurch shook his head. “Wasn’t that kind of thing. Besides, now I know where she works and where she lives.” Ghost eased the truck through traffic. Taking a moment to spare a glance for Lurch. “She left work for you last night?” “No,” Lurch said with a slight shake of his head. “I came into town a couple nights ago, went to a small restaurant and that’s where she waits tables.
