The days started to blur into each other as Kerry settled into a routine, the only ones standing out in her mind were the ones where Lurch stayed with her. Even her days off didn’t stand out in her mind because she did much the same things as when she was working, the exception being where she did it. Nearly a month had passed since she’d started at the ranch when she was working in the bunkhouse one overcast afternoon.
