"Chase, I can't thank you enough for your generosity," Helen told me appreciatively as I handed her the cheque, her eyes shining with gratitude as I smiled at her.
"Thank you for all the hard work that you do," I told her sincerely. "with all that you do, a donation is very little in comparison."
She blushed "Your wife is a lucky woman" she ventured to say, her eyes twinkling, "and I'm happy to see that you've found somebody who is just as lovely in personality as you are. I sincerely hope that your marriage continues to flourish and that you two remain happy together," she told me as she carefully placed the cheque in her purse.
