CHAPTER TWELVE Three hours after their stop in the Dairy Freeze diner, at six in the evening, Rylie actually did begin to get a little hungry. However, now that they’d solved one crime and had a little break, she figured she should probably stop for a bite before she passed out from lack of food. She felt antsy because she’d missed her morning run, and hadn’t eaten at all since she’d stopped for gas that morning at the Idaho-Montana border and gotten a candy bar. “You know of any place good to eat around here?” she asked him as he drove.
