CHAPTER FOURTEEN
Michael Brisbane was in the middle of a dream. He knew it was a dream, because it was too perfect—when would he ever get the time out of his job to walk along a tropical beach with a strange, beautiful woman in a bikini? And yet he chose to indulge the dream, the warm sun, the sand, the woman’s sexy laughter ringing in his ears as he pulled her close.
Suddenly, though, the sky clouded over and a tidal wave appeared in the distance.
His first instinct was to run. He turned to the beautiful woman, and her features morphed into the face of someone familiar. Her lips twisted around the word: “Michael!”
