“You should seriously go see a doctor, Caleb,” I complained the moment I saw his face. He was limping toward me as he came down to the lobby.
“It’s getting better. What’d you bring to eat today? I’m starving,” he said, his eyes already scanning the bags in my hands.
“If you’re so hungry, why didn't you have that girl you just finished with find you something before she left? And the reason your waist hasn't healed is that you’re doing it every single day. I’m fully recovered, but you look exactly the same—maybe even worse.”
