“You think you’re just going to run away?” I snapped at Damian, who looked ready to bolt after Adeline.
“I don’t have time to play games with you. Go find another victim to film your videos with,” the jerk spat back before sprinting toward Adeline, who was walking further away from me with every step.
Further from my reach. Further away every second. When will the day come when I can have her by my side, hearing her say she loves only me? Just like the way she constantly insists she loves that other guy.
I still don’t even know who that guy is. I’ve asked her older brothers, but no one talks. They just claim they don’t know. Since they put it that way, I didn’t press any further.
Now, she’s so angry she’s blocked me on every messaging app and social media platform. And B
