ShadesEhrien and Gibbs didn’t even bother moving after they Travelled back to the safe house. They just sat where they had landed and stayed there. It was too much. All that had happened. All they had seen. Neither could speak.
It took a few minutes, but Ehrien finally went into shock. Her body began to tremble, and her stomach twisted so hard, she almost threw up. Gibbs slid to her side and rubbed her back soothingly; but there was no real comfort in his gesture. It was automatic. He needed it as much as she did.
“My god...” she was able to mutter after a while. Gibbs’ motion became anxious, frantic even. He knew the hole she was falling into and was trying to pull her out of it before there was no return. Before he fell too.
