InlusioJack and Thomas were fully dressed and prepared by the time the four returned to the compartment, waiting for them. The boys waited outside for Ehrien to change and then returned. The beds had disappeared, and the seats were out again.
“Your brothers almost lost it trying to find you, Ells. I guess the over-protectiveness really isn’t an urban myth.” Thomas smiled at his friends.
“Not among the gingers.”
“Apparently not.” Thomas presented them with a bag of sandwiches, muffins, and a thermos of coffee. Ehrien reached for the muffins but left everything else. Good for her for being swift since the boys lunged at the food with no restraint, emptying the bag in under a minute.
