Sniffing the three flowers in my hand, I felt a pang of sadness. Will knew how much it hurt me to see flowers ripped from the ground, their beauty fading too quickly. Yet, to my surprise, he gently guided me toward a small garden just outside my floor. My steps slowed as I blinked in astonishment at the vibrant display. “This…” I whispered, my voice trailing off in disbelief. Will’s warm, loving voice brought me back to the moment. “I hope you love the garden,” he said, his tone full of pride. “I had it built for you. I know how you feel about flowers—how their beauty fades too quickly when uprooted. That’s why I hired gardeners to tend to it, so you never have to worry. Together, we can preserve its beauty.” His thoughtfulness filled my heart with warmth, and I couldn’t help but smile.
