As the banging continued, the entire community started walking out from their quarters, “Oh s**t, this is crazy,” said Nick. “Where the hell are the guards?” Nick asked as he looks around. “None of them is even at the gate,” said Dan. “Perhaps we should go check it out,” said Joe as he positioned his rifle.
With fear written all over their faces, the entire community stayed close to their quarters with only a few of them picking up their farming rake and other tools in case anything goes wrong. With their eyes all fixed at Nick and Zul as they walk towards the gate with their men, they murmured amongst themselves.
“Open the gate!” said Zul as he pulled out his revolver. “That would be unwise,” Nick replied. “We need to check through the watchtower,” Nick added as the banging continued.
