Josephine hurried down the stairs, hoping to put an end to the annoying, insistent ringing of her doorbell. She had tried ignoring it for a while but whoever it was, proved to be stubborn. She yanked the door open ready to do some serious screaming about etiquette, but her eyes fell on Lucy, and just like that Josephine's features softened. “Mum,” she stepped forward to hug her and saw Timothy leaning sheepishly on the wall. “What is he doing here?” Josephine addressed her mother with an accusing glare. And to Timothy, she growled, “I thought I told you never to show your face here again.” “Can we come in?” Lucy interrupted, making Josephine sigh. “Of course, you can,” Josephine assured with a sweet fooling smile. “But he won't set foot in my house.” She pointed at Timothy daringly.
