V ictor woke up his head ringing from last day's hangover,he could faintly hear his little brother running up and down the stairs looking for his backpack. Suddenly heard footsteps in his bedroom slowly as if the intruder was tiptoing.
"Waaaaakkeeee up sleepy head, it's morning dummy"
His little brother Ian shouted in his ears almost making his eardrums bleed.
"IAN!!!!"
Ian leaped out of the room,he knew what followed next.
Victor had no choice but to get up, he Checked his wrist watch and it was almost eleven in the morning.
"Am late for work again, am gonna get fired this time for real" he murmured to himself as he got out of bed.
Victor was walking to his desk avoiding his boss 'snort' this is a name they gave their boss because of his long pointy nose.
"Victor, In my office right now"Mr snort shouted from across the hall.
As much as he had tried to hide from him Mr Snort spotted him across the hall.
"Victor, am tired of you always coming to work late, this is the fourth time this month, anything you have to say?"
Victor knew he could not lose this job, he took care of his mom and his little brother.
"Am sorry sir,I promise it won't happen again, give me a last chance"
Mr Snort looked at him with wild eyes, his long pointy nose poking the surrounding air.
"This is the last time am seeing you coming to work late, you're dismissed"
"Thanks sir, it won't happen again"
