Aria's POV
I was surprised by the question Rio asked me, I did a double take, before I responded to him.
“What type of a question is that? Are you trying to insinuate something?” I asked him.
“I'm not insinuating anything, but I heard a man's voice within the confines of this house, and I also heard your own voice.” He said.
“If you had heard someone's voice, you should have come out and see who that was,” I said to him.
“It was Beta Sage, he brought me home last night,” I answered him, avoiding his gaze.
“Why did he bring you up? When did you even go out in the first place?” He asked me.
“You won't understand, I had something to take care of, have you heard from your brother?” I asked him, trying to change the topic of discussion.
He noticed I changed the topic, but he kept quiet
