MY ALPHA BODYGUARD

SPECIAL CHAPTER 1

It's been days since Eris hired Adam to be his bodyguard without knowing Adam still sleeps at the living room though Eris told him not to. 'You can use the other room' as per Eris' words. When one night, Eris can't sleep so he gets out of the his room to get some water. He stretched his arms and neck while walking towards the kitchen pass the living room with just using the light from his opened room when... "Haaaahh!!" he startled and raised his voice enough for Adam to wake up and sit up in a state of vigilance. "Wh.. Wha... What Happened?" he asked scanning the surrounding for any possible danger. He stood up looking at Eris with open wide eyes.

"What are you doi--- you still sleep here?" Eris asked trying to connect or think for words. He felt like his soul just jumped out of his body and back. He's not afraid of the dark but he's not totally fan of being surprised when you know you're the only one in the room then someone appeared in front of you.

"Well, I.. uhmmm--" 'what did he say?' Adam seemed loose his ability to think and reason. His hand automatically scratches the back of his head, up and down. Eris squinted his eyes and crumpled his brows. "Adam, my unit was small if anything happens..." Eris paused, looking at Adam and exhaled then continued his walk to get his water. "I'm still confident this building is safe plus you're here" he said while opening the fridge and get the glass pitcher. He turned facing his tall bodyguard still standing at the distance looking at him and took his glass of water in one drink. Gulped--. And then, next thing he knows Adam was now in front of him. Now that the kitchen light was on, he can clearly see this gorgeous body of his enigmatic bodyguard with just a white ribbed tank top and a bluish grey short. Hearing his own heart beat, he gulped again and cleared his throat slightly. 

"Do you want some coffee?" Eris asked to open a conversation and change his eye view from that perfectly sculpted body. Adam nodded, "Thanks" with half smile but not with sadness or anything but with awkwardness because he obviously knew that Eris was looking at him that way and felt his emotion, his amorous feeling. 

Eris tried to erase the image in his brain and focus making coffee but it seem he couldn't control his mind. Then, he gave his coffee and noticed Adam's distinguishable smile. "Mmmm" Eris put the cup in front of Adam and pushed it a little more closer. "Why?" he asked.

"Hmmm?" Adam looked at Eris, don't know what to respond. He doesn't know what he meant with 'Why'. 

"I don't follow. What 'why'?" Adam asked then took his first sip of the coffee his mate made for him. It's not sweet he's sure but he taste it, he feel it as sweet as his smile.

"You keep on smiling--Why?" Eris chuckled, "Is there something on my face?" touching his face.

"No...No.. That's not it" he stuttered, he did not expect for Eris to notice and ask for it. "I just remember something"

"Hmm, can you share it?" Eris said and now was also smiling. There was a minute of silence before Adam reacted, then, "Hmm" Adam looked at Eris intently, "Can I ask something?" he placed his cup down.

Eris nodded. "I don't know... how would I say this... I don't know if 'tis kinda rude but... you seem like you have always this kind of nightmare-- can you tell me what it is? ... uhmmm i mean what you remember on those dreams?" Adam obviously was worried but Eris seemed not --- or not yet --- seeing it. He pinned his bodyguard with his uncertain gaze. 'Why did he ask me that suddenly?' he said to himself

"Wh..why asking that? Why did you want to know?" he said curiously. He don't know what was he feeling with those questions from Adam. 'Maybe he's just worried about me. Does he really care that much?'

"I.. uhmm Im sorry ... Does it make you uncomfortable?" 

"No..no..its just so out of the blue... its.. just surprising asking me about that---" Eris smiled and chuckle inside the cup when he realized it was the last drop of the hot coffee and those grey eyes were still sending him chills.. different chills or... or feeling inside like.. he don't understand,,, it's familiar feeling but he's not sure what it is... if it is good or bad feeling. "Well, uhmm" Eris exhaled long and deep then continued, "its just... Im running away from someone or.. or.. something that I don't know what .... running for my life in that--- it's dark...thick woods..  I can barely see where I'm going... I know there's someone I'm calling for help but I don't remember who it was and----" he stuttered and exhaled helplessly like he was bursting in a cry. Later he knew he was in tears and....

"I..its okay if you cant.." Adam was already beside him holding Eris in his arms for support. "I'm so so sorry.. for asking you those things..." he apologized then Eris took off his hands away. 'What an i***t you are Adam? Really asking Eris those questions just to start a conversation... Can't you think of something else?' Adam chastised his self.

"Im gonna head back to my room----" Eris at the time he pulled himself together walked and leave his bodyguard, he's now felt the tiredness and exhaustion from work. From the living room he paused and looked back at Adam.."just sleep wherever you want" he said and smiled just not to look rude or unkind.

"Adam?" Eris called him when he realized he's not on the bedroom nor on the living room. He opened the glass door to the terrace and stretched his body and breathed the cold air. "What a beautiful morning" he said.

Few minutes later he went to the kitchen and saw the food that was already prepared on the table. He smiled. "He really was a good chef.. This looks good" 

"He's at the shower" Eris uttered softly when he heard the water gushed rapidly. Eris smiled for Adam's kindness and generosity. 'He's too sweet for a big guy, literally. How can a sweet and thoughtful soul be in that tall, huge and bad boy image of that man.'  he chuckled to his thoughts. Eris then made coffee for both of them, least that he can do compared to what he prepared. While waiting for his bodyguard to eat breakfast with him, he just drink his hot coffee first. After a few minutes, Adam came out of the comfort room. "Aaaheeemmm!!" Eris got choked for what he saw. He didn't expected it that he will witness his bodyguard's nude top body this early. YEAH!! Adam was wearing a towel on his lower body alone covering that hidden treasure that I'm sure every woman wanted to unfold. Eris was blushing he didn't know where to place his eyes. He then coughed again and sipped to his coffee quickly that made him burn his mouth. "Aaaahh" he cried putting the cup to the table and touching his lips.

"Are you okay?" Adam hurriedly ran to Eris aid then immediately bent forward to see closer his mate's lips that is now reddened.

"Yeah yeah 'am okay" he paused realizing how close he was to this topless greek god with perfectly curved abs and chest. Eris tapped Adam's hand out of his cheeks. "Im fine.." he stood up panicky and quickly turned back to avoid Adam's stare and touch. He walked and after few steps Eris paused and put his both palms on his cheeks.

"I.. I... I.. forgot my phone ...on... my .. room" Eris reasoned without looking at him. His face was hardly painted. Adam again left alone without any idea what just happened.
