The Unwanted Reunion

I was almost done packing when I heard the knocking on the door I stood there staring at the door not wanting to open and see the man that has been haunting my dreams for the past three years.i reluctantly walked as slow as possible to open the door. When I opened the door he was standing there with the same evil smirk he always had when he would come into my room before I left for college I stepped back and let him in he shoved against the wall and growled in my ear "did my little Alaina miss me?" I didn't make a sound which seemed to make him mad he slammed the door and grabbed my throat hard and I squeaked a strangling sound. he threw me on the bed and started to take my clothes off. My roommate came in the room and yelled at him to get off me and I started to cry. Jameson stood up and turned around and looked at Sari and said "you can leave and mind your own f*****g business you little bitch." Sari then pulled out a r**e whistle and blew it as loud and long as could before Jameson snatched it out of her mouth and threw it on the floor but not before big guys came running into the room and tackled Jameson to the ground and Sari came over to me and cover me with a blanket and in the next 20 minutes our room became a hub for about sixty police officers My mother and his father showed up and start yelling at me to stop this whole show for attention I didn't say a word to them but Sari said " if you too believe this is all for attention you need to get help I walked in on Jameson raping your daughter and choking her Alaina didn't say or do anything I did." I looked at me then went over to Jameson and asked what happened he told them "we was hugging hello and tripped over her bag and fell I wasn't doing anything I swear." They then walked over to the police officers and asked "What is he being charged with?" "he is being charged with forcible enter into the dorm room r**e and assault." His dad then proceeded to try and talk the police out of arresting him and taking him to jail. "there is nothing you can do sir he was caught on camera assaulting your daughter so the only you can do at this time is find a really good lawyer." he stated and then turned and got in his car driving off with Jameson in the back seat in cuffs. My mother then came over to me slapped me in the face and said "you ungrateful little b***h you have ruined everything for your own selfish gain you can forget about finishing college on my dime I'm done with your no longer my child I want nothing to do with you." she turned and walked away leaving me sitting there crying and wondering what I should have done differently. I was pulled out of my thoughts when Saris mom said "Don't worry Alaina I will help you with your tuition as a investment I expect you and Sari to work at my firm when you two graduate." I began to cry AGIAN but tears of joy not sadness they then took me to their three story house and made me feel so loved and care for the next two weeks. On my last day at Sari's parents house I heard what sounded like crying coming from the library so I tiptoed down the hall to check it out and I heard Sari's mom Shelly talking to Sari's dad Jacob "I don't understand it Jake how can a mother belittle her own child to nothing in front of her abuser and then not even believe it happened even though we have it all on video." "I know my love I don't understand it either but she is with us now we can love a protector her like she deserves." At that moment I felt safe and little shocked to hear that the whole thing with Jameson was caught on video. I lightly knocked on the door and Mr heroson said "come in" I walked in looked them star in the eyes and said "I want to see the video." they both looked shocked by my request but eventually so ok as long as they can stay with me while I watch it I agreed and Mr Heroson pulled out a laptop out of the desk drawer and started it up while we was waiting Shelly looked at me and said "just remember love we are with you 1000 percent no matter what happens we are family. I haddnt realized when I told Sari about Jameson and what happened to me that she would turn and tell her mother about it after I found out that her was picking me up I texted Sari and told her not to come to the room around six thirty seven that night because Jameson was picking me up to bring me to the wedding. She went to our room and set up a camera then called her mother and told her what was happening so she could make sure the camera was in the right spot and recording when he showed up.i was beyond grateful that they didn't tell me anything because Jameson would have known something was wrong by the way I wouldn't have been afraid. Mr Heroson got the video up and running and asked if I was ready"yes sir I'm ready." he pressed play and I say how terrified I looked packing my bag then how I froze when I heard the knock on the door the worst part was see how evil he looked at me then how satisfied he looked when I didn't fight back. from that moment I decided I would always fight back no matter who or what it was I would forever be a fighter. after the video ended I thanked them then left the library and went to the room I was staying in and just laid down and went straight to sleep knowing I was safe here.

Three months later

I woke up to my alarm with a smile on my face knowing today start the last day of finals and the first day of summer break Sari and her parents invited me to go on vacation with them to Hawaii . I of course said yes and was super excited I never been anywhere that required a plane flight. I'm so excited I've been packed and ready for three days now just waiting on my last which is today and I cant wait any longer I grab the last outfit I had left out and grab my shower caddie and head to take a shower. I get to the showers and am so happy no one else is here so I grab the first shower and start my process of wash my long black hair it takes awhile because the water pressure here sucks but when I'm done I get out and start the drying process I have considered cutting my hair but have been to scared it will turn out bad. as I'm leaving the bathroom I bump into a girl coming in and I immediately apologize "OMG I'm soo sorry." It was much needed I got to my last final of the day and flew through the test faster than expected one of the first five to finish so I went back to my dorm to get my bag and ran into a guy from my Criminal Justices class he called out "hey your Alaina right." "Yea that's me whats up?" "so my cousin tells me you got an internship at Herosonand Smith." "Yea I did why." "I did too I figured I'd introduce myself since we will be spending the summer together doing all the grunt work they can throw at us Im Parker Smith by the way." "Smith as in heroson and Smith?" We make it to our dorm and he says "what are you guys up to tonight." "well we are about to head upstairs grab our bags then we are off to a two weeks on the beaches of Hawaii. What about you." "Nice to meet you too Liana." we get up to our room and find our doors been kicked in and out room trashed. there was security guards there looking around when we walked in "What happened?"
