I make my way down the stairs. Draped over my skin is a deep red, low cowl back, sequin dress. The dress hugs my body, exposing my curves and is freer at my lower leg area, reaching beyond my ankles.
And there is a slit. Not too noticeable but it is there.
On my neck, ears and wrist are an elegant diamond jewellery set. On my hand is a matching, small diamond purse. And my feet are secured with matching, diamond laced heels.
Alario is at the end of the stairs, staring at his watch. His eyes meet mine as I descend, my heels leaving a statement at every step.
I notice his lips part slightly as he stares at me but he doesn’t say a word. I giggle. “It’s okay, you can compliment me.” Alario stretches his hand out for me when I reach the last step and I place my hand on it.
