Fake Tradition

364 Words
Autumn POV What is he talking about? Journey alone? Tradition? Something is not making any sense and it scares the hell out of me; and I've read every book and not one f**king mention of this so called tradition. "Autumn I agree, your Alpha is not being honest and seems to actually have hatred in his words. It feels wrong!" I hear Harvest say to me. It was only at that moment I realized that Ragnar could feel my fear and confusion and the grip on my hand ensured he could feel what I was. "f**king mate bond" I think to myself. Luna Megera POV "What the hell is my mate saying we have no such traditions like that!", I say to my wolf Opal. I can hear her growling towards our mate in disgust. Before I realize it my wolf takes over and she burst through the office door ready to chew him out, but before she does he mind links us and tells me to "calm down it's a test". But I know he's lying and I mind link back "very well BUT we will discuss this later". Until then I'm just so happy that the she-wolves I've raised found their mates and at least it looks like Autumn has a protective and loving mate; where as Rayne seems displeased by hers and I must admit it's a little funny that her mate is the opposite of what she prayed to the moon goddess for. "I believe we a new party to plan for" and I see Autumn roll her eyes and blush at the same time. "Ragnar correct? I ask the well dressed young wolf that seems to be very fit and very well spoken. "Yes Luna Megera and it is a pleasure to meet you, my parents speak highly of you and Alpha Domino" Ragnar says with a warm smile. "Well enough of all this pack talk for now, we can surely speak of it in the morning, the Omega's have already prepared guest rooms for everyone. I believe we have a birthday to get back too." I say to everyone and to help ease the tensions filling the room.
