Alpha Domino POV

"I can not believe she was that damned Evealane's pup that was what the elders warned me of". My wolf Demon growled at me. "We should have killed that worthless former mate of ours the moment she was with pup."

I slam my fist on the marble top desk in my office. "F*ck what do I do now! No one knows who their father is and Rayne is easy to manipulate unlike that Autumn; how do I kill her without the other pack leaders finding out or Ragnar now that we know she's his worthless mate."

Demon POV 

Well we could just send her to their pack and arrange an accident to happen, tell them our tradition is to send future Luna's out on their own to survive the journey to their soon-to-be Alpha mate!

"Well well, I guess you aren't all claws after all my wolf. Who knew you had a brain too."

Shut the f*ck up or I'll take over our body fully and kill her right now.

Ragnar POV

"Something's off." my wolf informed me as we grew closer to Alpha Domino's office. I couldn't resist the feeling either that we were about to put our beautiful Autumn in danger, and that was the last thing in the world we wanted to do after just finding her.

There is something special about this she-wolf and wolf and I, no we will need to do everything to keep her safe.

"Autumn how are you feeling? Besides the obvious I mean." She stopped and put her head down and began to cry again and my wolf Night howled in pain for her as did I.

Autumn POV

Ragnar looked concerned and I'll admit being the pack outsider I'd never seen that except from Luna Meg.

I sigh heavily with tears streaming uncontrollably again, and muster up the words.

"It is a lot to take in about my mother, and not knowing why my father abandoned not just me but my sister as well. Harvest says she wasn't a rogue wolf but also doesn't know who my father is or remember his face."

Harvest whines with shame but I tell her it is okay, maybe the elders can help with they magickal and mystical powers some posses. But that angers her and will no tell me why.

"Do you think he was afraid of me?" I ask Ragnar who becomes alert and his eyes flicker between him and his wolf.

"No, but we will find out together." he says.

"Autumn, has Alpha Domino ever been aggressive towards you and Rayne?"

Shocked by his question, I immediately know why he became alert. Something dangerous was lurking behind the office door and now I could feel Harvest grow alert, while I could feel myself cower in fear. Which I have never done around the Alpha. Is It because I have shifted and am in touch with my wolf now?

Alpha Domino POV

*Knock, knock, knock*

"Come in" I say in my most calmest voice.

"Ah Autumn and Ragnar, good good come in and take a seat. Luna Meg will be with us shortly. This will give us an opportunity to talk real quick before she comes in filling the room with love and affection."

"Thank you Alpha Domino, I too wanted this moment with you as well. I just wanted to express how joyed I am that our Goddess paired me with your lovely and beautiful daughter."

"STOP! Sorry I do not mean to shout but you must know she is not mine or the Luna's daughter; neither is Rayne. But not many know that we adopted them as they were left on our pack boarders at birth."

"My apologies. But regardless now that I have found my mate I wish to bring her home to my pack as the future Luna as soon as possible."

"Yes I figured you would but I have some news that may make that difficult, especially with our traditions.

I know our Autumn spends most of her time in our archives reading she may not be aware of this but it is tradition and custom that our she-wolves take the journey out of the pack boarder alone to their mates to prove themselves. But I'm sure you know of Autumn's condition and how frail she truly is?"

Ragnar POV

"Excuse me, but i have never heard of such a thing in any of the packs. This seems quite odd, don't you think it would have been discussed as her and Rayne were growing up?"

My wolf growls to me that this wreaks of dishonesty and maliciousness, and I agree given that Autumn seems to be in horrified shock to this news herself.

"Well my young pup, she wouldn't know as she spent most of her life in the pack hospital and did not receive the same grooming or education as Rayne did."

Just then the door opens and there stands a very angry Luna Meg with eyes blacker than any pit. But it doesn't last long as I know that Alpha Domino mind linked her and she went back to being her joyful self.
