“If this was mistake we did twice,” he thought. “The cake is ready,” said Jim who came out of kitchen.
“Come Mr. Easton, have some cake” she said smiling. He got up and went inside the Kitchen.
There was pregnant silence in the kitchen. They were eating but no one was really saying anything.
“So Mr. Easton, what brought you here?” asked Jim smiling.
“She is my Fiancée, so I came here to pick her up for family reunion,” he said and bite of cake goes stuck inside Jim’s throat. He looked at Matilda in rush. She was breathless.
“Fake Fiancee, he means fake fiancée” she said while looking at Easton.
“What do you mean by that” said Jim while crossing his arms angrily.
“I am helping my boss” she said. “Helping like this?” he said annoyed.
