Almost at the end of Sutton Way, Anna saw a sign jutting up from an immaculate lawn, indicating she was now arriving at the “House of Marvelle” as Tony had joked. According to a quick glance at the red and black sign, she was not only a well-known cat breeder, Marvelle’s felines had also won several national championships. Anna parked out front, grateful at least that she didn’t have to discuss the endearing qualities of the kitties with their adoring owner. Despite Marvelle’s questionable sanity, Anna had to admit that the garden was immaculate, in stark contrast to the monstrosity which was the house opposite.
