Chapter 13- Discussion with Veer!

Dr. Anand POV:-

It's been three years since we started living here with our child, Bhawana. When we first came here, she was broken and tired. She used to have nightmares every day. But since Angad, our grandson, who joined our small family. Bhawana become better. She doesn't need those antidepressants anymore. She could sleep peacefully with our grandson.

I am happy to see her happy. She achieved a lot these years. Also, she completed her MBA in Business Management. So, it helped her a lot in her business. My wife and I are so proud of her.

I could see that since Veer became friends with her. She got her confidence back. Even I saw the love in his eyes for Bhawana and Angad. I knew he would protect these little angels with his life.

I looked at my who slept peacefully. I decided to talk to my girl about this proposal. I went to her room and saw her working on her laptop. I looked at the time. It's midnight. I sighed at her stubbornness.

" Wanna hot chocolate? " I asked, and she looked at me with a smile.

" Of course, dad. " She replied, and I smiled.

Yes, she started to call us mom and dad when our Angad came into our world. When she called us mom and dad for the first time, we cried a lot. After all, we were parentless for the last 20 years of life.

I went to the kitchen and two hot chocolate cups. One thing is common between us. We are a sweet tooth. This made Akshita mad at us many times. But we showered her with lots of love and tickling, and she had to agree at the last. I came back to her room and saw her closing her laptop and looking at Angad with worry.

" What happened, child? " I asked.

" Dad, I know he didn't see the outside world. But when he go to school and saw other students spending time with their parents. My child's heart will break. I don't know what I should do. So, he could live a happy and carefree life. " She confessed, and I smiled.

" You know you are the best mother for him. As for your question, I have a suggestion. " I stated, and she looked at me with full attention.

" Today, Veer asked for your hand. " I confessed, and she looked at us with shock.

" Veer loves you both, my child. Even his parents adored and loved you. I know you don't love him. But I think you should at least give him a chance. You know when I got married to your mother, we both were strangers. But we believed in marriage. We decided to become friends and then partners. You didn't even love anyone before. Then you can easily trust Veer with your heart and trust. " I explained, and I saw her thinking deeply.

" You are right, dad. But I will destroy his life by marrying him. You know very well. Marriage means giving the other person your everything, which includes s*x. You know I can't give him that thing. " She stated, and I smiled.

" I think you should talk to Veer about it before taking any decision. " I said, and she nodded.

" Good night, sweetheart. " I wished and kissed her forehead then my grandson before going back to my room to sleep.

Bhawana POV:-

I opened my eyes to see my son looking at me with innocent eyes and a smile. I smiled back at this beautiful moment and kissed his nose.

" Good morning, son. " I wished him.

" Good morning, mumma. " Angad wished me back. Yes, my son is very intelligent compared to other children. He learned everything in these two years. He didn't even stammer while talking. Even he pronounces the words correctly.

I bathed him before taking a bath. I wore a white shirt and black pants. We went to the temple and worshipped God. I taught him everything about our culture because teaching our culture to our children is very important for every parent. Then he asked for my milk which I gave him. He sucked my breast carefully without biting them which made me smile at him. Once he was done, I adjust my clothes and went to the dining table. Mom made breakfast already, and we dig in immediately.

I took my son and took him to Sharma Enterprises. Yes, I took my child there every day. Because of him, I have my own cabin and his personal play side in my cabin. So, he could play easily while I could do my work. In the company, everyone adores him.

I put him in his playroom. I saw Veer enter my room and said, " Good morning, son! "

" Good morning, daddy. " He wished him back, and I smiled.

" Bhawana, I want to talk to you. Can you come with me? Riya will take care of him for some time. " He stated and looked at Riya who looked at us with a smile.

Riya is a sweet girl. She is very shy and works as a vice president at Sharma Enterprises. I know she liked Veer. I tried to patch them but failed every time. I nodded and went to his cabin.

We entered, and he looked at me with a nervous smile. He said, " Bhawana! I asked for your hand from your parents. They agreed on the condition that if you agree, then they would have no problem. So, I want to know your thoughts. " I took a deep breath and looked at him.

" Veer, I always like you as a friend who helped me a lot. But here we are talking about marriage. If I agree with you, there will be a problem between us. I can't sexually involve with you. You know how I raped. It was so difficult for me to accept someone's touch after that night. " I explained.

" Bhawana, I understand your concerns. " He said and held my hand with one hand and cupped my face with another.

" But I am ready to take steps slowly. I don't love your body. I mean I want to win your soul before marking your body as mine. I will wait for you all my life. I just need you by my side. " He confessed, and my eyes filled with tears.

" Don't cry. I love you. If you reject then I will respect your decision. But I want you to think about it carefully. " He stated.

" I know what I want. My answer is... "
