1017 Words
Bhawana POV:- I looked at the doctor couple for a good minute carefully. Their eyes were begging me to say yes. I knew how it felt to live alone for these two months. I knew my parents had adopted me. There were yearning for the parenthood which they got from me. They must be feeling the same my parents felt once. But can I trust someone again? I looked at them again and took a deep breath. " Alright, I agree to become your daughter, uncle, and aunt. But I can't call you my parents. I hope you can understand. " I stated, and they smiled widely. " Myself, Dr. Akshita Chakravarti, a gynecologist. He is Dr. Anand Chakravarti, a cardio surgeon. We will never force you to call us mom and dad. We can understand it was not easy to give someone your parent's position. Fortunately, we were getting an offer from Max hospital in Delhi. We can shift to Delhi with us. Tell everyone there that your husband died. Okay? It would be easy for your child. " Dr. Akshita introduced and explained everything to me, which made me smile. " Let's see about my child's father there. For now, tell me, when will I get the discharge? I need to start packing, and I need to find a paying guest. So, my home will always be home. " I asked and stated my concerns regarding my home. " Right now. Your principal will accompany you till we do all the formalities here. " Dr. Anand said, and I nodded. My principal came and kissed my forehead and said, " I just wish, you live a happy life wherever you go. I am sure your parents must be proud of you at this moment, my child. Remember, this principle will always be here for you. Call me anytime, if you need me. " I smiled at her gesture. Three years later:- Bhawana POV:- It's been three years since I found out about my first pregnancy. I looked at my child, Angad Tripathi, who was sucking his milk from my left breast. My child is two years old. But he still loves my milk. He still drinks my milk two times every day. First, in the morning, and last before going to sleep. It's already 9 pm. I am singing a lullaby for him. He is the best thing that ever happened to me. Since I found out about his existence, my life became better. He came into my dark life like an angel and brightened my world. I am living in Delhi and am the CEO of a small business, Merry Cosmetics. I have six branches in Delhi, while some branches are in other states. When I came here with Dr. Anand and Dr. Akshita, I was scared. But they healed my wounds and encouraged me to start my dream business. I was four months pregnant when I started my own business, and no one was willing to give me a job. I recovered from depression and insomnia. When I was eight months pregnant. My stomach became big, which gave me difficulty to move around. I still remember when my water broke when I was nine months pregnant. It was so difficult for me. I was in labor for seven hours, but still, the baby won't able to come out. I was so exhausted that Dr. Akshita decided to perform a C-section. But when he cried and came in my arms. I realized everything was worth it. His eyes were the same as his father, blue. But his blue eyes filled with innocence, which I never wanted to remove. That day, I decided to never make him meet his father. " My son! Where are you? " I heard a familiar voice, I turned and saw my best friend, Veer Sharma. When he saw my child sucking his milk through my breast, he blushed and turned immediately. I didn't expect him at this time. That's the reason, I didn't have any stall with me to cover myself from this embarrassing moment. " Veer, you should call me before coming. " I said, and he hummed and left immediately. I met him when we shifted here. He was our neighbor. He lived here alone. His family lived in their mansion in Gurgaon. But he wanted to become independent. That's why he shifted here. When I first met him, he was a sad man. He was in depression because he found his girlfriend f*****g his friend in her apartment. That day, we became companions and best friends. He knew the whole truth about me, just like I knew everything about him. In fact, he gave his name to my child's birth certificate. He is the godfather of my child and loved him a lot. On the other side, my child loves him too. He called him daddy many times. But my son loved me a lot. He was sticking to me all the time since his birth. But, he is an understanding child. He never frustrated me and listened to everything I said to him. My child took my genes for which I am happy. My thoughts broke by the ringtone of my phone. I looked at my phone and saw Veer's name. " Yes, Veer. " I said. " If you are done, can I come to your room? I need the red file for our latest project. " He said, and I smiled. " Yes, you can come in 10 minutes. " I replied and cut the call. I am working in Sharma's enterprises, which is a small company but bigger than mine. I am Veer's secretary. So, you can say that we are together most of the time. I looked down at my son and found him sleeping peacefully. I corrected my clothes and made him sleep in the bed while putting the pillows around him for his precaution. I took out the red file and saw Veer enter the room. He took the file from me and left while wishing me good night.
