Chapter 19- Goodbye, Veer!

Bhawana POV:-

I had many possibilities that he would snatch my son from me and make me his maid, s*x slave, or something. But never in my million thoughts, I thought he would marry me in my traditions. He knew my weakness. He knew why I agreed to marry Veer. He knew how much importance I had to our Indian wedding. Now, I am more scared.

Marrying him, according to our Indian traditions, meant giving my everything to him. Physically, mentally and socially. How will I handle this? I knew he was dangerous. It was something he was hiding from me. I knew, after our wedding, he would not leave any chance to rape me.

But now, the first task is to tell everything about my parents. I don't know how they are going to handle it. I don't know why my life went back to square. I checked the time, it was 8.30 am.

I came out of the office and sat in the driver's seat. After putting a seat belt on, I set the GPS to my destination. It took me one hour again to reach my home.

When I entered, I let tears fall from my eyes because my parents must be sleeping with Angad. But this time I was proved wrong. When I got to the hall, I saw my parents sitting on the couch watching an animated movie on the television. They looked at me and got shocked.

" Bhawana, what happened? " Dad asked while patting my head. His soft voice made me break. I hugged him tightly and cried and cried. I fell on the floor, and he sat with me.

" Mommy! Mommy! Why are you crying? " My son asked. I looked at him, who looked at me with tears in his eyes. I controlled myself from crying.

" Nothing, child. Mumma was having periods. So, she was in pain. Nothing to worry about. Are you hungry? " I stated and asked. Yes, I told my child about periods. My periods were so painful that I cried every time. It was also true that I was having periods. It's my 3rd day.

" Yes, mumma. I want your milk. " Angad stated, and I smiled.

" Are you okay, child? " Mom asked, looking worried.

" I will tell you later. " I replied, and they understood. I picked my child in my arms and went to my room. I gave him my n****e to suck, which he did immediately. I patted his head softly as I knew it was his weakness for sleep. In fifteen minutes, he slept with a full tummy. I put him on the bed and covered him with a duvet. I adjusted my clothes and went to the hall. I looked at my parents, who looked at me worriedly.

" Now tell us, what happened? " Mom asked.

" My child's father came back to our life. Today, I went to meet him. " I confessed, and they looked at me with shock.

" Who is he? " Dad asked, looking at me with rage. I knew he was mad at me. But he was furious toward my son's father.

" Mr. Damian Knight, CEO of Knight Corporation! " I confessed, and they looked at me with shock. He is the second richest man in the world. He is so popular all over the world.

" What?! That man made a shitty deal with you. He raped you. Why did you hide his name from us? No, why didn't you tell us about it before? " Dad asked, and I lowered my gaze.

" I was worried that he would do something to you. I don't want you to be hurt because of me. " I replied.

" Tell us exactly what happened today. " Dad ordered, and I narrated everything to them.

" No! I won't let you marry him at any cost. I will help you escape, my child. Don't worry. Just show yourself in front of him that you are marrying him. I will handle the rest. " Dad stated.

" But... Dad! If he finds out about this plan, he could shoot you in a rage. Please, don't do this. I am scared. " I confessed, and tears fell from my eyes.

" But if he married you with force in front of us, I would never be able to forgive myself. " Dad confessed, wiping my tears.

" He is right, child. We can't let anything happen to you. So, please follow his plan. We will take care of the rest. " Mom stated, and I hugged them tightly.

" I love you both! " I confessed.

" We love you, too! " They replied and hugged me back.

" But I need to meet Veer. I need a proper breakup from him. Also, I want to see if he is alright or not. " I said and called him immediately. He picked up the call on the second ring.

" Bhawana! " He said, hissing in pain.

" Where are you, Veer? " I asked.

" In Max Hospital, where your parents work. " He replied.

" Alright, I am coming. " I said and cut the call.

" Take care of Angad. Mom! Please, prepare dinner for tonight. I will come at 5 pm. " I stated, and she nodded. I took my keys and left my home. It took me 45 minutes to reach the hospital. I parked my car and entered the hospital. I went to the reception area and asked for Veer's room number.

" It's the fifth floor, room number 509. " The receptionist replied, and I went to his room. I entered and looked at him carefully. Tears formed in my eyes, looking at his injuries. He was beaten very badly. Many parts of his body were wrapped in bandages.

" I am sorry, Veer. It all happened because of me. If I didn't agree to marry you. You were saved from this beating. I am ashamed. " I said while sitting on the chair in front of me. He held my hands softly and wiped my tears. I looked at him. He was crying too.

" No, Bhawana. It was all my fault. I wasn't able to save you from that bastard. I should have asked when I noticed the similarities between him and Angad. To save my family and me, you sacrificed yourself. I am sorry. " He stated. I wiped his tears.

" It was not your fault. But I am sorry, Veer. I am breaking my promise to marry you. " I said and took off the ring he slid on my ring finger yesterday.

" Please don't say sorry. I understand you. But if you ever feel like escaping from him, let me know. I will do anything to help you. Bhawana! I know one thing about you. You are strong and confident. Don't let that bastard break you. Stand for yourself in front of him. I know you can tame that devil. " Veer stated, and his words gave me the confidence I was looking for.

" I will, Veer. Take care of yourself. This may be the last time we meet. " I said, and he nodded.

" Before you leave, can you at least have lunch with me? It's already 1 pm. " Veer asked, and I nodded.

We ate our lunch when his family entered. They asked questions, and we replied the best we could. They understood my situation and hugged me immediately.

I realized they were going to be the best in-laws, whichever girl Veer gets to marry.
