Chapter 15- Engagement Day!

Next Day:-

Bhawana POV:-

I opened my eyes and saw the time. It's 10 am. Ah! It's been so many days since I slept this late. Yesterday, after Pandit ji gave us the next week's date. Everyone got so happy. They decided to take this week off and arranged for everything because we didn't have much time. Our families decided to do the shopping together.

So, today we are going shopping. I looked at my son, who was still sleeping. I decided to let him sleep because I knew shopping would be made him tired. I went to the washroom and did my business. After that, I decided to wear a sky-blue kurta with black jeans.

I came out of my bathroom and saw Angad looking cranky. I got worried and checked his forehead. But he doesn't have a fever. It's rare to behave like a child. I said, " Good morning, son! What happened? "

He didn't reply and put his head on my shoulder and wrapped his arms around me. I soothingly patted his head. I understood my son needed me. I walked back and forth to make him calm, which did work. He got better in 15 minutes.

" Now tell me what happened? " I asked. He looked at me with those innocent eyes with tears that could make anyone's heart melt.

" Mumma! I saw someone come, and he took us away from here. He looked scary. Mumma, he won't come, right? " Angad explained and asked. I smiled at him with a smile.

" Nothing like that will happen, son. You know that your father is here to protect us. Right? " I stated, and he nodded at my question.

" Forget your nightmare. Are you hungry? " I asked, and he nodded. I took him to the bathroom and brushed his teeth carefully. After that, I bathed him and made me wear a cute t-shirt and trousers. He looked cute in that. After that, I gave him my breast, and he sucked my n****e immediately.

I know my son. He is obsessed with my milk. I won't ever make him cry now. After hearing about his nightmare, I felt like something will going to happen soon. Of course, it won't be good. After he was done with his breakfast, I arranged my clothes and put the cup over my bra. My milk leaked. So, I must take precautions.

We came down and saw my parents who were chatting about the rituals of engagement happily. I said, " Good morning! You both are looking so energetic today. "

" Good morning, child. Why won't we be happy? You are going to get married to a good man. We will be happy of course. Plus point is even after marriage you are going to be staying in Veer's apartment which is just next to us. " Mom replied, and I smiled. I think I made a good decision.

After breakfast, we went shopping with Veer. We bought everything we needed. It took us 9 hours to complete the half shopping. The shopping made everyone so tired that we decided to eat dinner near the restaurant. After dinner, Veer's parents decided to sleep in his apartment. We came back home and slept.

Six days Later:-

Today is engagement day. In the arrangements, we didn't even realize that the time of engagement came.

I looked at myself in the mirror. I looked breathtaking in this royal red lehenga. The border is royal blue with a peacock design. It made the lehenga more royal. It's heavy, but not that heavy. My parents gave me a beautiful diamond set. I was shocked to see that. I even tried to refuse. But they started their emotional blackmail. In the end, I had to wear it.

By looking at the necklace, I realized how rich my parents are, but still, they are down to earth and didn't show off their riches. It made me love them more and be proud too.

I looked at my son, who wore a white three-piece suit and looked so handsome and cute. Mom was the one who made me ready. To be honest, I feel like I am a bride today. I even knew I didn't wear many things a bride wears at their wedding.

" Mumma, you are looking so beautiful. " My son said and kissed me like the 20th time. I smiled at him.

" And you, my son looking so handsome and dashing. " I replied and kissed his nose.

" That I am, mommy. " He replied arrogantly, making me shocked. For a second, he looked just like his father. I realized I still couldn't change him. But at least, I can make him a better person.

Before I could say anything, the door opened and revealed my parents, who looked at me with teary eyes. Dad hugged me and said, " I didn't even realize how much time passed that you are already going to become someone's fiance today. I am very happy, my child. I wish you infinite happiness. "

I broke the hug and kissed his cheeks. I said, " I love you, daddy. "

He kissed my crown and replied, " Love you too, princess. "

I looked at my mom, who looked at me with a smile and hugged me too. She broke the hug and said, " Come, child. "

She said, and we came downstairs slowly. We are in a farmhouse where our parents decide to do all the rituals. I raised my eyes and looked at Veer, who looked at me with a mind-blowing smile that made me blush.

Since our engagement was decided, we have become close to each other. Veer made me feel those things I never felt. Somewhere I started to love him. But still, I want to wait for some time.

I walked down and stood in front of the stage. Veer gave me his hand, which made youngsters hoot at us. I felt a dark gaze, but I decided to ignore it as I didn't want to spoil my mood. Step by step, we reached in front of the couple's couch where we sat together.

The priest told our parents to come, and they performed the rituals. In the end, we performed the ring ceremony. When I slid the ring into Veer's left ring finger, he held my hand and kissed the back side of my palm. It made me blush, and I glared at him. Veer winked at me, which made me blush more.

Everyone laughed at his antics. Soon, everyone came to congratulate us. I saw my son walking towards me. Angad looked tired. I made him sit on my lap and kissed his forehead.

" What happened, champ? " Veer asked Angad.

" Tired, daddy. " He replied, and he kissed his cheeks. We heard someone clear their throat. We looked in front of us, and I got shocked, and a shiver ran through my whole body in fear.

There he was standing in his glory, looking at us with rage in his eyes, Mr. Damian Knight!
