Chapter 17- Confrontation!

Next Day:-

Bhawana POV:-

I looked at my son in front of me, who was sleeping peacefully. I saw the time. It's 6.30 am. I sighed and went to the bathroom. I didn't sleep a wink last night. My head was throbbing in pain. But I didn't care about my headache as I was scared of what Damian would do now when he found out about our son and me.

I did my business and wore a plain black suit which I didn't like a bit. This suit is too dull. But I saw how Damian looked at me with lust. So, I wanted to show myself as dull as possible. So, he would never look at me like that. I wrapped the dupatta around my neck and looked at myself in front of the mirror.

I am not looking beautiful, which made me sigh in relief. We had a day off because everyone was so tired yesterday. So, everyone must be sleeping. I looked at my son. I picked him up and went to my parent's room, who was sleeping. I put my son between them and shook my parents a little.

" Dad! Mom! Please take care of Angad. I will come soon. " I said, and they looked at me with sleepy eyes.

" Where are you going so early in the morning? " Dad asked.

" I will tell you when I will come back. Please believe me. For now, sleep. " I said, and they nodded. They put their hands on Angad and went to sleep.

I came to my room and picked up my phone, wallet, and earphones. I connected my phone with earplugs and sat in my car. I put my destination in the GPS, which showed a one-hour destination. Then I started driving.

I reached at 7.30 am. I saw only the guards were at the office front. I knew I chose the correct time. I walked towards the entrance where the guards stopped me.

" Who are you, miss? Why are you here? " One of the guards asked.

" Mr. Knight summoned me here. You can ask him. " I stated, and they looked at each other with shock.

He called someone, whom I assume is Damian. Then he said, " Sir, a woman is saying you summoned her here. "

Then he looked at me and asked, " Your name, miss? "

" Bhawana Tripathi! " I replied. He said my name and then nodded and said, okay. He hung up the call.

" Miss, you need to go to the top floor at the CEO's office. Sir is coming in 20 minutes. " He stated, and I nodded. I thanked him and entered.

I saw the elevator and entered. I pressed the top floor button and the doors closed. As the elevator went upward, my nervousness increased. When I reached, the door opened. I walked into the corridor where I saw CEO written on a cabin's door.

I entered and gasped. The cabin was just like his personality. Dark, neat, and dominating. I sat on the couch and start waiting for him.

In 15 minutes, he entered. I looked at him who was looking at my head to toe with an intense gaze. I become uncomfortable.

He walked towards his seat and sat like a king. He glared again for the next five minutes. I couldn't take it anymore and asked, " Why did you call me here? "

" When were you planning to tell me about my child? " He asked calmly which made me more scared.

" N... Never! " I replied while shuttering because of nervousness. He stood up from his seat and came towards me and held my arms in a tight grip. I looked into his eyes which held fire.

Author's POV:-

" You hid about my child from me, tell me, you bloody b***h? " He roared while holding her in a tight grip in his office. She tried to free herself from him even if she knew that her power was nothing in front of him. She hates being near him. His touch was like a knife to her.

When he saw her trying to free herself from him, his rage increased, and he tightened his already tight grip, which made her scream in pain. Her eyes watered, and tears fell from her eyes because of the pain. Her pain made him soften, and he loosened his grip a little. Then he roared again, " BLOODY, ANSWER ME!!! "

" YES, I HID ABOUT MY CHILD FROM YOU BECAUSE I DON'T WANT HIM NEAR YOU AT ANY COST. YOU ARE A MONSTER! I DON'T WANT YOUR SHADOW TO EVEN TOUCH MY INNOCENT CHILD. NOW LEAVE ME! LET ME GO!!! " She screamed as all years of pain and what he had done to her came in front of her eyes. He chuckled at her comment, which made her more scared. She stopped trying to free himself and looked into his eyes, which scared her more than anything else.

" Oh, really? You know! If I want to, I can easily take his custody from the court and make sure you never meet him while he lives his whole life with me. " He stated, and she looked into his eyes which held the determination she was scared to face. It's a nightmare she had been running from since she found out about her child's existence.

" No, you can't do this. He is my life. Please! I beg you. Please don't snatch him from me. " She fell on her knees and begged, without caring about her dignity as her child is more important to her.

" I have a better option for you if you agree. " He stated, and she looked at him with hope, which was going to shatter her hopes and dreams.

" Marry me! " He stated, and her eyes widened.

" I have a fiance, and I love him. I can't marry you. I won't. " She stated and looked into his eyes which held nothing but darkness. He glared at her when she confessed her love for her fiance. After all, she was his the moment he saw her. He chuckled darkly, scaring her scared soul more.

" Then you should see this. " He said and video-called someone. The person picked up the call and saw the scene, which made the lady frightened. Her fiance had beaten black and blue. He looked like he needed urgent treatment. Someone raised the gun at his forehead, which made her scream for him.

She looked at the devil in front of her, who stood like he don't care if her fiance died or not.

" Please leave him! He didn't do anything wrong to you. " The girl said while crying. The devil smiled at his statement and was mad that her girl had been crying for some other man.

" Either you marry me, or your fiance and his family die. Also, I will take my child from you. Now the choice is your baby girl. " He stated, making the girl lose the whole hopes and dreams she saw for her life.

She took a deep breath and wiped her tears. She looked at the man with blank eyes and said, " Yes, I am ready. "
