“I don't even want to go anymore," I said to Kimberly, watching as Paulina finished her hair.
"So, you've been saying," Kimberly said, giving me a look.
"And what have I been telling you?"
"That I'll have fun without him."
"You're going to have fun with us," she promised.
I just let out a long sigh as Kimberly stood up, kissing Paulina's cheek, and thanking her.
"Sit," Kimberly ordered to me, pointing to the seat.
I did as I was told, staring in the mirror as Paulina started on my hair.
"You're going to look gorgeous," Paulina informed me.
"What good is that?" I asked her.

"Go with your friends, have fun with them."
"Kimberly is going with Luca."
