Taysha and I arrived on the outskirts of a neighborhood. I knew right away this was the territory of a pack, and suspected this was Night’s childhood home. Would they really go so far as to pay some hunters to kidnap her and deliver her to their door?
“We should be careful or else they’ll sense us,” Taysha warned. “We should fall back.”
